(Due) 10 on “soldier’s” cover postmarked VICKSBURG/MISS on JUL/25. Cover endorsed by Lieut. John Grimball of the Confederate ironclad ram Arkansas. Docketing in ink indicates that the letter was dated July 25, 1862. Arrows point to “hints” of a circle around the bold 10.
