This section contains censuses of Confederate postmasters’ provisionals. Not all provisionals are included, but the list continues to grow.

Several sections apply to all censuses. The user is encouraged to review these to obtain a good understanding of what information is contained in the censuses. These sections were included as part of the older censuses of individual towns and will be removed when a census is updated.
